I have been sporting wigs, full weaves and full-head weaves since my final relaxer in Sept 2006 to assist grow my hair out with out relaxers.

*My resolution to “go natural” was probably not intentional at first. Through the latter a part of 2006 I grew bored with doing my relaxer retouches. I could not seem to discover a stylist that I may belief to do them for me and i received uninterested in sitting in stylists’ chair just to be dissatisfied by how they treated me, my time, and my hair. So I kind of let my hair “go” for a couple of months. My hair was trying pretty rough, though I beshe lady lace 31 wig used to be sporting wigs (I made the wigs myself). So one day (at about 7 months put up-relaxer) I looked at my relaxed hair and thought “Oh my, that is ridiculous”.. and at that point I had about 3.5 inches of latest growth. That day I determined to only go for it and lower off ALL however 1 inch or so of the relaxed hair. From then on I began to somewhat “build a relationship” with my pure hair. I say “considerably” as a result of I am going to put on my hair in a straight state 99% of the time. So I only actually deal with my kinky hair whenever I shampoo and blowdry.
I don’t get wrapped up in the natural vs true-pure debates. I simply consider myself to be a one who has non-chemically relaxed hair that I straighten by different means on a regular basis – easy as that.
*After i press my hair for the primary time after a shampoo, I prefer to make use of a straightening beshe lady lace 31 wig comb and oven. If I must touch it up during the week, then I use a ceramic flat iron with the temp set at about 250.
*I take advantage of warm heat (ceramic flat iron) roughly as soon as or twice per week if needbe. I hadn’t skilled any harm(breakage) with the heat Until I colored the top of my hair in Could 2008. I kinda went overboard with the lightening course of..I lightened it too light (honey blonde), then I needed to tone it back down with a chestnut brown demi-permanent colour. So now I’m extra careful with the heat since my hair is colored and that i’ve upped the frequency of treatments in order that portion of my hair is doing okay now.
*My final relaxer was September 2006. I transitioned for about 7-9 months earlier than I cut off all of the relaxed hair. Album was created 10 years ago
